Jordan and Jennifer Bateman are licensed as religious representatives by the Province of British Columbia and the Christian Ministers Association (www.canadacma.org) and granted the ability to solemnize weddings.
Jenn is an employment counselor in Surrey, helping people re-enter the workforce.
Jordan (www.jordanbateman.com) is the BC Director of Communications for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (www.taxpayer.com). In November 2005, he was elected to Langley Township Council, and was the youngest person to ever serve in that position. He was re-elected in 2008, topping the polls. He left Council in August 2011 to serve with the CTF. In 2007, Jordan was named one of the top "35 under 35" young Christian leaders in Canada.
Jordan, 35, and Jenn, 31, live in Langley, BC, with their daughters, Indiana and Danica, and son, Jackson. Jordan and Jenn were married on the third of June, 2000. The couple has worked together on many different initiatives, including summer camps for underprivileged students, child literacy programs, Christmas adopt-a-family campaigns, and free concerts for emerging musicians.
